Barcelona have completed the signing of Emerson Royal from Real Betis for €9 million.
The right-back becomes the club’s third signing this week, after securing the services of both Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia from Manchester City.
The Catalan club activated a clause to recall the 22-year-old, who has spent the last two-and-a-half years at Betis.
Barcelona have decided to end his loan deal with the LaLiga club, which sees him return to Camp Nou. Real Betis will earn 20% of any future transfer of the player.
