Leading Barcelona pair Hansi Flick and Deco have this week secured respective nominations for high-profile awards.
As much was on Wednesday announced by the Globe Soccer Awards.
In the case of the former, following a stellar debut campaign on the books of Barcelona in 2024/25, Flick has been put forward for Coach of the Year.
The German joins the likes of Mikel Arteta, Luis Enrique, Enzo Maresca and Real Madrid counterpart Xabi Alonso in the running for the prestigious accolade.
As alluded to above, though, Flick is not the only staff member in Catalunyaâs capital to have secured for himself a Globe Soccer nomination.
So too has Sporting Director Deco.
Credited as the leading figure in the transfer dealings done by Barcelona over recent seasons, ex-midfielder Deco is up for the âBest Directorâ award.
He will battle it out with the likes of LuĂs Campos and Giovanni Manna to clinch the prize.
