La Liga giants Barcelona have released a statement, confirming an injury setback in their first-team squad.
The player set for an incoming spell out of action? Lamine Yamal.
The name of wide-man Lamine has of course taken its place front and centre in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the 18-year-old played no part in Barcelona training on Saturday morning.
Hansi Flick, in turn, went on to confirm in his pre-match press conference that Lamine has been ruled out of tomorrow’s La Liga meeting with Valencia.
And as alluded to above, an insight into the details of the youngster’s problem has since been provided, too.
As per a statement across the Blaugrana’s website and social media platforms:
‘Lamine Yamal is experiencing discomfort in the pubic area and is currently unable to train or play. His return to training will depend on how his condition evolves.’
