La Liga champions Barcelona have on Wednesday made official some fresh positive news regarding their Spotify Camp Nou return.
This comes amid confirmation that the club’s next outing on the continent will be played at their beloved home ground.
The subject of the Camp Nou’s grand reopening has of course dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 24 hours.
As much comes after Barcelona announced that the club’s upcoming meeting with Athletic Club will be held at their newly-renovated stadium.
This brings to an end a two-and-a-half year absence from the Camp Nou.
And as alluded to above, a day on, the Blaugrana faithful have been afforded yet more welcome news when it comes to their side’s plans for the weeks ahead.
As per a follow-up statement across Barca’s website and social media platforms on Wednesday:
‘Barcelona announces that the sixth match of the Champions League league phase, scheduled for Tuesday, December 9 at 9:00 p.m., against Eintracht Frankfurt, will be played at the Spotify Camp Nou.’
