La Liga giants Barcelona have on Monday announced a fresh addition to the club’s attacking ranks.
This comes amid confirmation of the arrival of talented winger Roony Bardghji from FC Copenhagen.
The name of youngster Bardghji has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital for several weeks now.
As much comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that Barcelona had moved to bring the Swedish youth international in for next season.
Ahead of the expiration of Bardghji’s contract terms with Copenhagen at the end of the year, Deco and co. worked out the terms of a cut-price deal late last month.
And as alluded to above, following weeks of waiting, on Monday, the 19-year-old’s Blaugrana switch has finally been made official.
As per a statement across Barca’s website and social media platforms:
‘FC Barcelona and FC Copenhagen have reached an agreement for the transfer of Roony Bardghji. The winger has signed a four-year contract, until June 30, 2029.’
Bardghji joins Joan García as Barcelona’s 2nd high-profile summer signing.
