The player in question? Wojciech Szczęsny.
Shot-stopper Szczęsny has for his part been forced to watch on from afar, as Barcelona have gotten the defence of their Spanish top-flight crown up and running with a pair of back-to-back victories.
As much came as Deco and co. worked tirelessly behind the scenes in efforts to open the necessary space on the Blaugrana’s wage bill to register their no.2 for league play.
And as alluded to above, 24 hours out from the club’s next outing, Barca have on Saturday managed precisely that.
