Alavés have confirmed the sacking of head coach Asier Garitano after five straight defeats.
The Basque club find themselves currently sitting in 15th place in the table, with just one win in seven since the return of La Liga action. The new interim boss is expected to be named ahead of their next clash against Real Madrid.
