Friday has seen no fewer than six members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid afforded call-ups on the international front.
Beginning in goal, Thibaut Courtois, in the midst of a return to top form over recent weeks, has as expected been drafted in by Belgium.
Moving into defence, Dean Huijsen has been given the nod to link up with Luis de la Fuente’s Spain squad.
From Xabi Alonso’s midfield, a pair of players are rewarded for their recent form, with Jude Bellingham named in England’s ranks, and Arda Güler set to link up with Türkiye.
Moving further forward, Brahim Díaz will play his part in Morocco’s upcoming round of fixtures.
And last up comes young frontman Gonzalo García who, despite his lack of game time in Madrid over the early months of the campaign, has done enough to secure a place in the Spanish U21 setup.
