The squad of players called upon by La Liga leaders Real Madrid for their upcoming meeting with Elche has been unveiled online.
And it features a number of altogether noteworthy absences.
Beginning with those long expected to miss out, all of Antonio Rüdiger, Dani Carvajal and Franco Mastantuono remain unavailable for selection.
Turning focus towards the more recent fitness setbacks in Xabi Alonso’s ranks, though, another trio have failed to recover for the trip to the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero, too.
This comes amid confirmation that David Alaba, Éder Militão and Aurélien Tchouaméni will play no part against Elche.
In the case of the former pair, as much comes owing to problems suffered on international duty, whilst midfielder Tchouaméni, despite returning to group training, is still not yet fully recovered from a hamstring complaint picked up against Liverpool earlier this month.
