Former Barcelona star Neymar Jr. has taken to social media on Wednesday, to send a message of well-wishes the way of fellow countryman Gabriel Jesus.
This of course comes after the latter was officially unveiled as the latest addition to Hansi Flick’s attacking ranks in Catalunya’s capital.
After coming up short in their pursuit of first-choice striker target Julián Alvarez, the Camp Nou brass over recent days turned their focus firmly towards a deal for Jesus.
Not in the plans of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal for the season ahead, an agreement on the terms of a cut-price transfer, in turn, was quickly found between the parties.
Jesus, on transfer deadline day, was then unveiled as a Barcelona player in front of the media.
And as alluded to above, 24 hours on, the Brazilian international has received a message of encouragement from a fellow countryman considered something of an icon in Barcelona.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Neymar unveiled a photo of Jesus in Blaugrana colours, alongside the caption:
