A new name has this weekend been added to the rumoured list of centre-forward transfer targets at La Liga champions Barcelona.
This comes amid the understanding that the Blaugrana are considering a move for Inter Milan star Lautaro Martínez.
A big-name striker is of course widely expected to link up with Hansi Flick’s Barca squad next summer.
With Robert Lewandowski primed to move on upon the expiration of his contract terms, Deco and co. have long been on the lookout for fresh blood in the final third.
A whole host of leading names from across the continent have in turn been tipped as potential arrivals at the Spotify Camp Nou.
And as alluded to above, this weekend, a new profile has been added to the list.
As per a report from Fichajes:
‘Lautaro Martínez fits the ideal profile: young, decisive, accustomed to competing at the highest level, and with consistent improvement since his arrival at Inter Milan.’
Notably, it is also added that ‘the Argentine’s representatives appear open to considering offers from the Camp Nou’.
