The bargain nature of a piece of incoming transfer business tied up by La Liga giants Barcelona has this weekend been revealed.
This comes amid confirmation of just how cut-price a deal the Blaugrana have closed for Roony Bardghji.
The name of youngster Bardghji has of course dominated the headlines in Spain over the course of the last 24 hours.
This comes after the 19-year-old finally touched down in Catalunya’s capital, ahead of putting pen to paper on terms with Barcelona.
Bardghji arrives from Copenhagen boasting a stellar reputation across the continent, in a deal worth a fee in the region of €2 million.
So, just how have those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou managed to thrash out such a bargain agreement?
For one, Bardghji is is not long back from a serious knee injury. Not only that, but the winger’s Copenhagen contract is due to expire at the end of the year.
Despite as much, Bardghji is still considered by market experts transfermarkt to be worth €7.5 million, just shy of four times what Barcelona will pay for his services.
