Barcelona’s sporting vice-president and director of football, Rafa Yuste and Mateu Alemany, are at the Al-Gharaffa Stadium in Al Duhail, where Xavi will coach his last game in charge of Al Sadd, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Inside the ground, Yuste and Alemany have been in face-to-face talks with Arturo Canales and Fernando Solanas, Xavi’s representatives, with whom they have already reached a full agreement for Xavi to become the next manager of Barcelona.
Everything has been agreed between the former Barça player and the Catalan club and now all that is left is for Al Sadd to agree to his departure, with talks set to take place over the next 24 hours.
