The 32-year-old, whose contract with Real Madrid is set to expire in June 2023, is keen to extend his stay at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
According to reports, several clubs in the MLS would like to sign the Spaniard this coming January as he could help boost the league’s profile.
However, Nacho wants to stay with Los Blancos beyond this season and is hoping that the club will extend his deal by at least a year.
The Spain international is very rooted in Madrid and currently lives in his hometown of Alcalá de Henares with his wife and two children. Based on his personal situation and professional goals, it is very likely that Nacho will become a one-club man and retire at Real Madrid.
