Gerard Romero reports that Barcelona have asked to remove the Memphis Depay’s image from some American tour promotions.
Depay’s situation is becoming increasingly complicated. With the renewal of Ousmane Dembélé on the way and the arrival of Raphinha from Leeds United, Depay’s future at the club is being questioned.
According to AS, Xavi is not counting on Depay for the 2022-2023 season. The most viable alternative for the Catalan club is a sale. The fee would reportedly be in the region of €25 million.
The Dutchman joined Barcelona in August 2021. He has made 37 appearances, scored 13 goals and provided a total of two assists since joining from Lyon.
