Denials regarding the recent media claims on the future of Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger have come to the fore online.
The name of stopper Rüdiger returned to the forefront of the headlines in Spain’s capital early this week.
As much came after fresh reports were forthcoming, surrounding Real Madrid’s future plans for their defensive stalwart.
Diario AS, for one, suggested that Rüdiger is all but certain to depart the Santiago Bernabéu next summer, upon the expiration of his contract terms.
On Tuesday, however, the situation has been clarified by one of the most reliable voices in the game.
Speaking during an appearance on his official YouTube channel, market insider Fabrizio Romano assured that, as of this moment, the Real Madrid brass have not yet made a call on the German international’s contract situation:
”Nothing has been decided at this stage, so the Toni Rüdiger situation at the moment is not one I want to comment on.”
