Barcelona star Marcus Rashford has this week spoken out on his plans for the future.
And the news will no doubt come as music to the ears of those of a Blaugrana persuasion, amid confirmation that the attacker is hopeful of staying put with the club ‘for a long time’.
Frontman Rashford has of course proven himself one of the success stories of the campaign to date in Catalunya’s capital.
Taking full advantage of the injury crisis in Hansi Flick’s squad, the Englishman has responded with an impressive haul of nine direct goal contributions across all competitions.
Such fine work has already given rise to claims that the Camp Nou brass will move to make Rashford’s signing a permanent one come the season’s end.
And if the latest comments on the part of the 27-year-old himself are anything to go by, then this appears to be his preferred path forward, too.
Speaking during a fan Q&A on Barcelona’s official YouTube channel (as cited by Diario Sport) this week, Rashford was drawn on the subject of his future.
And the on-loan Manchester United man went on to assure:
“I’m really enjoying my time in Spain; Timing is best. A very big change. I’m learning every day, I’m enjoying it a lot. I hope to be here for a long time.”
