Barcelona summer signing Marcus Rashford conjured up a moment of much-needed individual excellence during the club’s latest outing.
This came by way of an outstanding assist.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on domestic front.
In their post-international break return, the Blaugrana have welcomed Valencia to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.
The aforementioned Rashford was for his part in from the off, afforded a place on the hosts’ left wing.
And after something of a hit-and-miss opening 45 minutes, early in the 2nd-half, the Englishman showcased exactly why Barcelona pushed so hard for his signature over the summer.
Looking far livelier following the interval, and beginning to combine to good effect with his teammates, Rashford cut inside onto his trusty right foot.
From here, the 27-year-old delivered a delicious bending ball to the back post, which was slotted home by the arriving Raphinha.
It was precisely the kind of moment which Deco and co. would have envisioned when signing Rashford, and will no doubt do wonders for the attacker’s confidence.
Encouraging signs for club and player alike.
