Barcelona star Marcus Rashford has this week provided an insight into some of the early friendships he has managed to strike up since arriving at the club.
The name of frontman Rashford has of course continued to act as a prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over recent days.
This comes with the Englishman having kept alive a stellar recent stretch of individual form.
En route to Barcelona putting Olympiacos to the sword in dominant fashion in the Champions League, Rashford was on target to the tune of a brace.
This, all told, took his tally for the campaign to nine direct goal contributions.
Rashford is looking more and more comfortable in Hansi Flick’s squad by the week, a development in which his teammates have no doubt played an important role.
And speaking during a fan Q&A for Barcelona’s official YouTube channel this week (as cited by Diario Sport), the on-loan Manchester United man opened up on some of those with whom he has struck up a close relationship to date:
“I get along very well with Roony (Bardghji), as well as Jules (Koundé) and Frenkie (de Jong). It’s a team in which we all mix. We are united. The team is fantastic.”
