Manchester United have opened talks with Barcelona for Frenkie de Jong, according to Fabrizio Romano.
De Jong (25) has admitted that he wants to stay at Barça and play Champions League football.
The price will be in the region of €85 million, with Barça reportedly waiting for an opening bid. Manchester City have also been linked with De Jong.
The Dutch midfielder’s contract at Camp Nou runs until 2026.
