An agreement has almost been reached between Manchester United and Real Madrid defender Raphaël Varane, according to journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi.
Talks are at an advanced stage between both parties. Discussions are also open between United and Real Madrid but the Premier League club have yet to make an official offer for the 28-year-old centre-back.
Varane’s contract with Los Blancos will expire in June 2022. He has been Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top defensive target for the Old Trafford outfit and Madrid are prepared to negotiate a realistic fee for their player.
