Former Real Madrid star Luka Modrić has sent a message of support the way of a current member of Los Blancos’ ranks, on the back of the club’s latest outing.
The player in question? Vinícius Jr.
Wide-man Vinícius is for his part fresh off a stellar evening’s work on Tuesday.
Afforded a starting berth in Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Levante, the Brazilian enjoyed a wonderful showing, notching a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win.
His goal proved the highlight of the night, as Vinícius bent a sumptuous effort into the far corner of the Levante net with the outside of his right foot.
And amongst those to have been left in awe of such brilliance was the aforementioned Luka Modrić.
Taking to the comments section of his ex-teammate’s latest post on Instagram, veteran midfielder Modrić – now of AC Milan – responded with the following:
