Lazio defender Luiz Felipe will join Real Betis as a free agent this summer on a 4-year deal, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The centre-back finishes his contract with Lazio on 30 June. Betis have long been interested in acquiring the player’s services and in recent weeks have made progress in negotiations with his agents.
The 24-year-old is an Under-23 international with Brazil and has been called up by the Italian senior national team for recent friendly matches.
Both Marca and ABC Sevilla consider the signing of the centre-back to be a done deal, despite the keen interest shown by other clubs in acquiring his services.
Luiz Felipe has made 30 appearances in Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Europa League for Lazio this season.
