Luis Enrique wants a Barcelona star at PSG next season

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has made his way onto the transfer radar of Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain.

That’s according to Fichajes, who highlight Marcus Rashford as the player in question.

Frontman Rashford is for his part of course in the midst of something of a career renaissance on the books of Barcelona.

Since making the move to Catalunya’s capital from Manchester United over the summer, the 28-year-old has emerged as a leading figure in Hansi Flick’s squad, notching 15 direct goal contributions in all competitions.

The fact remains, however, that Rashford is only on loan…

With as much in mind, rival clubs from across the continent could attempt to interfere, to lure the Englishman in with a view to next season.

And as alluded to above, one such side considering precisely as much are PSG.

As per a report from Fichajes:

‘The Parisian side sees Rashford as an ideal player to bolster their attack, and their interest stems directly from a specific request by Luis Enrique.’

Not only that, but the French heavyweights are said to be willing to splash out a sum in the region of €50 million to bring Rashford to Ligue 1.
