Luis Enrique calls up Real Madrid player to Spain squad

The Spanish national team has a Real Madrid representative for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Greece and Sweden.

Dani Carvajal has been called up by Luis Enrique for Spain’s games. The Madrid right-back has recovered from injury and has already played with Real Madrid.

In Luis Enrique’s most recent call-ups, there have been no Real Madrid players. There were no Real Madrid players in either the European Championship, the Nations League or the qualifiers that have been played between the two tournaments.

The last Real Madrid player to be called up by Luis Enrique before Carvajal’s call-up was Sergio Ramos in March 2021. In addition to Carvajal, Luis Enrique has called up Brahim Díaz, a Real Madrid player who is currently on loan at AC Milan.
