Spanish national team head coach Luis de la Fuente has named his matchday squad of players to face Turkey in the country’s next outing.
And nowhere to be seen in as much are a pair of players to have been called up by La Roja for the international break.
The pair in question? Jesús Rodríguez, and Dani Vivian.
Youngster Rodríguez is for his part fresh off taking to the pitch for the Spanish senior national team for the first time ever against Bulgaria this week.
Defender Vivian, on the other hand, was not afforded a minute of playing time in Sofia.
And as alluded to above, this situation will not be changing on Sunday evening…
Spain are primed to return to action later today, in a highly-anticipated World Cup qualifying fixture against Turkey.
As confirmed by Marca, though:
‘Luis de la Fuente has selected his players from the 25-man shortlist who were in contention for this match. Vivian and Jesús Rodríguez were ultimately left out of the squad.’
