La Liga giants Barcelona are set to welcome a leading member of the club’s attacking ranks back into the fold for training on Tuesday.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Raphinha as the player in question.
Wide-man Raphinha has of course been sidelined since all the way back in September.
As much comes owing to a hamstring injury, which was initially expected to keep the former Leeds United standout on the treatment table for just a matter of weeks.
A series of setbacks, however, have since seen Raphinha miss the best part of two months.
With the 28-year-old’s influence on the pitch, from both a technical and leadership standpoint, having been sorely missed, all of a Barcelona persuasion will therefore no doubt be excited by the latest word stemming from Catalunya’s capital.
As per a report from Sport, when the Blaugrana’s squad link back up for group training on Tuesday, Raphinha is expected to take full part.
This comes with a view to a return to the pitch against Athletic Club this coming weekend.
