A headline member of the defensive ranks at Premier League giants Liverpool was this weekend spotted adding his signature to a Real Madrid jersey.
The player in question? Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The name of defender Alexander-Arnold has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital over the last couple of weeks.
As much comes amid fresh claims of interest on the part of Real Madrid in luring the England international to the Santiago Bernabéu.
Amid an ongoing search for a long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal, TAA, it would appear, is considered the ideal profile.
With just 12 months remaining on his Liverpool contract, the Blancos brass are therefore keeping a close eye on developments surrounding the England international’s future.
And, as alluded to above, this weekend, Alexander-Arnold has set tongues wagging in Madrid once more.
As showcased in the photo below, whilst enjoying his summer vacation in the USA, the 25-year-old was asked to sign a Real jersey by a young fan.
And Alexander-Arnold did not hesitate to do precisely that, a move no doubt set to be heavily scrutinised over the days and weeks ahead.
