Sections of the home support in attendance at Liverpool’s meeting with Real Madrid this evening have taken firm aim at Blancos youngster Arda Güler.
This comes after Trent Alexander-Arnold was also targeted pre-match.
Youngster Arda was for his part afforded his latest high-profile start on Tuesday, as Real Madrid made the trip to Anfield.
The Turk, though, as alluded to above, has been afforded a hostile reception on the part of the home crowd.
During the game’s early exchanges, on each and every occasion he touched the ball, Arda was met with a round of boos and jeers.
Some have suggested that as much comes owing to a prior falling out with Dominik Szoboszlai.
As things stand on Merseyside late in the first-half, the scoreline remains deadlocked at 0-0.
It is hosts Liverpool, though, who have enjoyed the better of things, with Thibaut Courtois having been forced into some fine saves.
