Barcelona icon Lionel Messi has this weekend showcased his support for Blaugrana sensation Lamine Yamal.
This comes by way of the Argentine’s latest activity on social media.
Wide-man Lamine has of course long been considered something of a long-term heir to Messi in Catalunya’s capital.
Already considered one of the game’s very best players at just 18 years of age, the Spanish international appears to boast all of the traits to establish himself as a Barcelona legend.
Lamine followed in the sizable footsteps of Messi before him earlier this summer, in taking ownership of the Blaugrana’s no.10 jersey.
And this weekend, the latter has for the first time hinted at his approval regarding as much.
Messi over the last 24 hours encountered a post on Instagram, featuring the caption:
‘From Messi’s No.10 to Lamine’s No.10, Barça’s future is in safe hands.’
And the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner responded by way of a simple ‘like’, suggesting that he agrees with the sentiment.
