Barcelona icon Lionel Messi has on Thursday taken to social media, to unveil a celebratory post.
This comes to recognise the anniversary of his first-ever appearance in the colours of the Blaugrana.
Attacker Messi of course spent the vast majority of his legendary career plying his trade on the books of Barcelona.
The Argentine, all told, spent 21 years of his life in Catalunya’s capital, from 2000 through the summer of 2021.
Across this stretch, Messi racked up countless titles, both individual and team, on his way to cementing himself in the eyes of most as the greatest player of all time.
In turn, it should come as absolutely no surprise to learn of the 38-year-old maintaining a close bond with Barca as a club.
As much was evidenced for the latest occasion on Thursday.
This came after Messi took to his official Instagram account, to unveil a post in recognition of the 21st anniversary of his first-team Blaugrana debut:
