Levante star is averaging a goal or assist every 80 minutes this season

The remarkable opening to the campaign being enjoyed by Levante star Karl Etta Eyong has on Saturday continued.

This comes owing to the youngster’s exploits in his side’s La Liga meeting with Real Oviedo.

Levante marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to the Estadio Carlos Tartiere for a meeting with Oviedo.

When all was said and done, the day’s visitors emerged on the right side of a 2-0 result, to climb to 12th in the Spanish top-flight table.

And the aforementioned Etta Eyong played a starring role along the way.

The Cameroonian rounded out the scoring in the clash, to kill off Oviedo’s comeback efforts with 72 minutes on the clock.

And as alluded to above, in the process, Etta Eyong kept alive what has been nothing short of a brilliant start to the 2025/26 season.

All told, the summer arrival at Levante has now racked up eight combined goals and assists in eight La Liga appearances.

Focusing specifically on his per-minute average, as per journalist Albert Ortega:

‘He generates a goal every 80 minutes.’
