Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Saturday broken a benchmark previously set by Blaugrana icon Lionel Messi.
This came courtesy of a brilliant hat-trick.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with Villarreal.
Late in proceedings at the Spotify Camp Nou, the Blaugrana are well on their way to another three-point haul, leading by three goals to one.
And it is the aforementioned Lamine who has proven himself the undisputed star of the show.
From his berth on the right flank, the Spanish international has notched all three of Barca’s goals, to round out the first hat-trick of his professional career.
His maiden three-goal haul in a single fixture comes with Lamine, as of today, just 18 years and 230 days old.
This means that the starlet has managed a hat-trick at a younger age than the Blaugrana’s greatest-ever player, in Lionel Messi (19 years and 259 days old).
