La Liga to be played behind closed doors until 2021

La Liga clubs have been told that football matches in Spain will be played behind closed doors until 2021, according to ESPN.

The decision has been made by the Spanish government, due to COVID-19, but has yet to be formally announced.

It has been reported that stadiums may not operate at full capacity until a vaccine is available. There is no date set for a return to football in La Liga, however it is still possible that the remainder of the current season will be played behind closed doors in June and July.
