La Liga rivals readying push against Barcelona over stadium drama

La Liga champions Barcelona could soon find themselves in hot water, amongst a number of rival clubs from across Spain’s top-flight.

That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who highlight the Blaugrana’s stadium problems as the reason why.

Barcelona have been pencilled in for the club’s first home fixture of the new La Liga campaign this weekend against Valencia.

Originally, the plan was for as much to be played at the newly-renovated Spotify Camp Nou.

With the ground looking increasingly unlikely to be ready for use by Sunday, however, the alternative venue of the Estadi Johann Cruyff is being readied for hosting duties.

Such a scenario would see a crowd capacity in the region of 6,000 permitted to attend.

Safe to say, however, that such plans do not sit well elsewhere across the Spanish football landscape…

As per a report from El Chiringuito TV:

“Several teams would request to challenge the match if Barça plays at the Johan Cruyff.”
