La Liga has confirmed in an official statement that five players in the first division and second division in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, following tests taken at clubs this week.
All of the players are asymptomatic and in the latter stages of the illness. Those affected by the virus will remain in quarantine at home until they get two negative results.
