Confirmation of the release clause included in the contract handed to Kylian Mbappé by La Liga giants Real Madrid has today been forthcoming.
The news which all of a Real Madrid persuasion had for so long been awaiting was of course finally forthcoming on Monday night.
This came in the form of confirmation that the aforementioned Mbappé had put pen to paper on terms with the club.
After allowing his deal with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain to expire, the prolific frontman committed the next five years of his career to Los Blancos, through the summer of 2029.
Turning attentions towards some of the finer details of his contract, Mbappé, it is understood, will be afforded a signing bonus in excess of €50 million, as well as gross wages of €30 million-per-season.
And the Santiago Bernabéu brass have also done their utmost to ensure that no other clubs from across the continent will be tempted to table an offer for their latest addition.
This comes, according to COPE, with Mbappé’s terms including a release clause set at €1 billion.
