Fayza Lamari has given an interview to Le Parisien in which she reveals that negotiations for her son’s contract renewal with PSG are going well.
Kylian Mbappé’s mother has told the French outlet that they are still negotiating a new deal with the Ligue 1 side.
In the interview, she claims that her son could change his mind overnight.
“We are currently in discussions with PSG about a renewal and things are going well. I even spoke to Leonardo last Monday. After that, will we find a solution? One thing is for sure: he [Mbappé] will give everything until the end to win the Champions League. Kylian needs to be satisfied. If he’s not happy, he’s capable of saying he’s going to quit his career. And he often tells us that (smiles). With Kylian, everything can change overnight,” says Lamari.
Mbappé’s contract with PSG expires on 30 June 2022 and Real Madrid are expected to make another offer for the France international in 2022.
