Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Tuesday continued to etch his name indellibly into the club’s history books.
This comes owing to his efforts in Los Blancos’ latest outing on the continent.
Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action, in the closing stages of a Champions League clash with Kazakh outfit Kairat.
Los Blancos, as expected, find themselves cruising towards a comfortable victory in Almaty, leading by four goals to nil.
And it is the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé who has proven himself the undisputed star of the show.
The Frenchman was responsible for netting all of his side’s first three goals of the clash, before compatriot Eduardo Camavinga added some gloss to the scoreline.
It was his first of the evening, though, which actually culminated in Mbappé securing for himself a piece of Real Madrid history.
As revealed by statisticians Opta, after the 26-year-old also notched a brace against Olympique Marseille two weeks ago:
‘Kylian Mbappé is the first player to score each of Real Madrid’s first three goals in a single UEFA Champions League campaign.’
