Headline players past and present were spotted in attendance at the ceremony held by Real Madrid for Lucas Vázquez on Thursday.
As much comes in an effort to pay respects to a departing club legend.
Versatile full-back Vázquez’s departure from Real Madrid was made official by way of a statement on Wednesday.
Following the conclusion of the Club World Cup, and with Los Blancos having made the call not to offer the 34-year-old a new contract, Vázquez has been allowed to move on as a free agent.
Following a career in Spain’s capital spanning a full 18 years, Real Madrid therefore organised a well-earned farewell ceremony for their departing defender, held on Thursday.
And as alluded to above, in attendance at the event were Blancos stars both past and present.
