Kylian Mbappé levels Harry Kane with Real Madrid goal vs Alavés

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Sunday levelled Bayern Munich counterpart Harry Kane in a noteworthy statistical category.

This comes owing to his exploits in Los Blancos’ latest outing.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés.

As things stand in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Xabi Alonso’s troops lead by a goal to nil, on their way towards a much-needed return to winning ways.

And it is that man Mbappé, once again, who stands as match-winner.

Slipped in down the left by Jude Bellingham during the first-half, the 26-year-old did brilliantly to surge into the hosts’ penalty area, before picking out the far corner with aplomb.

And as alluded to above, owing to as much, Mbappé joined Harry Kane atop a headline shortlist across Europe’s top-5 leagues.

As per ‘StatMuse’ on ‘X’, Real Madrid’s star man has levelled Kane as the player in Europe’s leading leagues with the most combined goals and assists this season (21).
