The latest word stemming from the media in France will no doubt pique the attentions of La Liga champions Barcelona on Saturday.
This comes amid confirmation that Paris Saint-Germain star and former Blaugrana winger Ousmane Dembélé is set for a lengthy incoming spell on the sidelines.
Wide-man Dembélé for his part featured off the bench on Friday night, as France locked horns with Ukraine in a World Cup qualifier.
En route to an eventual 2-0 triumph for Les Bleus, however, the 28-year-old was forced into a premature departure from proceedings.
This came after Dembélé pulled up with a muscular complaint.
And as much, as alluded to above, looks set to keep the Ballon d’Or frontrunner out of action for an extended period.
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano, citing French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Dembélé is facing up to a six-week spell on the treatment table.
In the case of as much, the ex-Barcelona star would be ruled out against his former employers, in the upcoming Champions League showdown between the Blaugrana and Paris Saint-Germain on October 1st.
