Kasper Dolberg on the verge of joining Sevilla

Kasper Dolberg is set to join Sevilla from OGC Nice. The Denmark international landed in Seville on Wednesday ahead of completing his move to the Andalusian outfit.

Dolberg, 24, will arrive on loan from Nice with an option to buy.

He has spent four seasons (including the current one) in the French league but has not performed as expected.

In the three years he has played for Nice, he has scored a total of 23 goals between Ligue 1, the Champions League and the Europa League.

With a contract until 2024 at the Ligue 1 club, Dolberg has a market valuation of around €17m according to website Transfermarkt.

Sevilla are hoping the young Dane can solve their attacking problems after they missed out on strikers Lucas Boyé, Raúl de Tomás and Umar Sadiq.

Julen Lopetegui’s side have only collected one point from a possible nine in La Liga, scoring on three occasions.
