As reported by Marca, Karim Benzema is set to miss El Clásico on Sunday.
Benzema wasn’t available for Real Madrid’s training session on Saturday morning and has been ruled out of the clash with Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The Frenchman had to ask to be substituted last Monday at the end of the Mallorca-Real Madrid game, going to the bench with a calf problem.
Carlo Ancelotti confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Karim Benzema and Ferland Mendy will be absent for Madrid tomorrow.
In 41 Clásico appearances, the 34-year-old has scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists.
