Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema was presented with the award for La Liga player of the month for September before Madrid’s match with Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday.
The France international forward scored six times and provided three assists in four games across the month. He also scored a hat-trick against Celta Vigo and a brace against Mallorca.
