Jürgen Klopp ‘seriously considering’ Real Madrid manager’s job

Former Liverpool head coach Jürgen Klopp is very much open to the prospect of taking over on the bench at La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer.

This of course amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the manager’s position in Spain’s capital.

Real Madrid are fresh off parting ways with the tactician who was widely expected to oversee a new era at the club, earlier this week.

Following a Spanish Super Cup defeat at the hands of arch rivals Barcelona, Xabi Alonso was sent on his way after just half a season in charge.

Alonso has since been replaced by fellow countryman Álvaro Arbeloa, who could not have gotten his stint off to a much worse start, after being sent packing from the Copa del Rey by 2nd division Albacete on Wednesday.

Chatter, as a result, has only continued to swirl surrounding the situation on the bench at the Bernabéu.

All of a Real Madrid persuasion will therefore no doubt be intrigued by the latest word to have surfaced regarding the plans of the aforementioned Jürgen Klopp.

As per a report from market insider Florian Plettenberg of Sky:

‘Jürgen Klopp is seriously considering a return as head coach should Real Madrid make a concrete move for the summer.’

Klopp, it is understood, would be willing to bring a close to his managerial hiatus for either Real, or the German national team.
