Late Jude Bellingham injury update provided ahead of Real Madrid’s trip to Valencia

A fresh insight into the wellbeing of sidelined Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has come to the fore on Thursday evening.

And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the Real faithful.

This comes with Bellingham, at long last, understood to be on the verge of a return to first-team training.

The England international, of course, has been sidelined since early this month, owing to an ankle injury suffered in Los Blancos’ 4-0 drubbing of Girona.

The hope was that Bellingham was in line to link back up with the rest of his teammates at Valdebebas this past Monday, with a view to taking his place in Carlo Ancelotti’s matchday squad bound for the Mestalla on Saturday night.

His chances of featuring against Valencia are beginning to look increasingly slim, but, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, Real Madrid’s top scorer should have built up a good level of fitness in time for next week’s Champions League Last-16 2nd leg showdown with RB Leipzig.

As much comes with Bellingham, all going to plan, in line for a Friday return to training.

As per a report from Sergio Quirante of DAZN ES:

‘Bellingham has progressed very well this week working individually. Tomorrow he is scheduled to train with the group to see how he feels.’
