Jude Bellingham’s fine form this year has earned him a place in the FIFA Team of the Year 2023. The Real Madrid star was the only English player, who didn’t play for Manchester City, to be included in the team.
Bellingham has been in supreme form for Madrid this season, scoring 17 goals in 24 appearances for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, including four in the UEFA Champions League.
The 20-year-old was one of three midfielders selected with Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne also making the team.
Bellingham is the second youngest player to appear in the Men’s World 11 after Kylian Mbappé in 2018 (19). Madrid teammates Vinícius and Thibaut Courtois were also included in the team.
