An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has been provided on Monday.
This comes after the England international picked up a problem during Real’s meeting with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night.
En route to an eventual goalless stalemate, Bellingham was seen to be in evident discomfort, before having heavy strapping applied to his left arm and chest post-match.
Speaking to the media on the back of his side’s disappointing result, boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted that the 20-year-old had suffered a shoulder injury, the extent of which was yet to be ascertained:
“[Jude] Bellingham has a problem with his shoulder. He will undergo medical tests [on Monday]. I hope he can play on Wednesday against Braga.”
And now, almost 24 hours on, further insight into the situation has been provided.
The info comes courtesy of Jose Luis Sanchez of El Chiringuito, who has revealed that Bellingham suffered a dislocated shoulder.
A decision on his availability to face Braga will therefore be made following a meeting between club staff, doctors, and the midfielder himself on Tuesday.
