Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has taken to social media, to provide an update on his wellbeing.
This comes after Bellingham was forced into a premature departure from Real’s La Liga meeting with Getafe on Sunday evening.
En route to a 2-0 Blancos victory, the England international played a starring role, notching both a goal and an assist.
With 45 minutes on the clock, however, Bellingham was surprisingly hooked from proceedings.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle at the Santiago Bernabéu, Carlo Ancelotti pointed towards a neck issue as having been behind the 21-year-old’s withdrawal:
“Jude Bellingham? He has had a problem in his neck. He will recover in a couple of days.”
Just two days out from Real’s return to action against Athletic Club, what, then, is Bellingham’s status?
As alluded to above, on Monday, as much has been confirmed, by none other than the midfielder himself.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Bellingham unveiled a photo of himself from yesterday’s victory, accompanied by the caption:
‘Checks all good, ready for Wednesday. Thanks for the messages.’
